A quality defect or suspected quality defect of a veterinary medicinal product must be reported when there are circumstances that may affect the quality, safety or efficacy of the veterinary medicinal product, in particular where such a defect could lead to a recall of the product or a restriction of its supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pursuant to Article 89(2) of the Act on Veterinary Medicinal Products and Veterinary Medical Devices (Official Gazette Narodne novine No 69\/2026), the manufacturer or the marketing authorisation holder of a veterinary medicinal product must report to the Croatian Veterinary Institute any quality defect or suspected quality defect of a veterinary medicinal product that could lead to a recall or a restriction of supply, if the veterinary medicinal product is on the market in the Republic of Croatia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This obligation applies to quality defects or suspected quality defects that may affect the supply of the market, including cases in which a recall of the veterinary medicinal product needs to be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
